Melanie Fair

Melanie Fair

Administrative Assistant

Melanie was born and raised in Bowie, Texas, before moving to Bridgeport in the sixth grade, were she continues to live today. She comes from a newspaper background and spent years working at the Bridgeport Index, her family’s publication. It was there that she developed a love for marketing and public relations.

In 2006 Melanie’s brother and mother passed away, within two months of each other. This difficult time helped her realize the guidance that grieving families need while planning their loved one’s funeral. She joined the Jones Family Funeral Home Family in 2007, where her husband Larry was already employed. And there at Jones she’s helping families through the funeral process and providing a listening ear when they need it most.

Lisa Michael

Lisa Michael

Administrative Assistant

Alisha ‘Lisa’ Michael is the newest member of Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport. She came on board in late September and has impressed us all with her work ethic, her ability to learn quickly, her dedication to excellence, and her compassion with families. She has already become quite an asset to this team.

Lisa, and her husband Jason, Decatur High School sweethearts, have been married for more than 20 years. They have one grown daughter, Ashley. Now empty nesters, they reside in the Bridgeport area. Lisa, like Melanie and Cheryl, is a former hairstylist – if there really is such a thing as a former stylist. Those talents often come in handy here at Jones.

When she’s not at work, Lisa loves to go to the movies and spend time with her family.
